The 2023 devastating fires destroyed all the historic buildings in Lahaina Town. The famous Front Street area was a visitors favorite because of the cute old buildings where galleries, clothing, jewelry and restaurants abounded. Visitors from around the world loved it for the gorgeous scenes and abundant things to see and do. Visitors flocked to the shoreline to see the famous sunsets, hoping to photograph beautiful images. This painting captures the sea wall and shops with warm colors and loose, expressionistic brush strokes.
