About The Painting
One of my favorite trees to paint was always the Lahaina Banyan tree. After the devastating fires it has been reborn and continues to add leaves and branches for our next generation. Lahaina Town was the hustle and bustle of tourists and locals alike. During a misty morning I took a photograph just after sunrise because I love capturing the reflection of light within a landscape like this.
